What we collect
When you use Adam, we collect the information you share in conversation: your career background, skills, goals, and working preferences. If you choose to complete the optional work-style evaluation, we also collect a personality profile based on that conversation.
Personality data: your choice
The personality evaluation is entirely optional. Before it begins, you will be asked for your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time. If you do not consent, your profile is matched on skills, goals, and preferences only.
Personality data is used only to improve the quality of introductions made on your behalf. It is never used to automatically reject you from a role. Final decisions always remain with the recruiter.
What employers see
Employers receive a directional personality insight, not a score, not a verdict. The report is clearly labelled as self-reported and candidate-consented, and includes a disclaimer that it should be used alongside, not instead of, interview and assessment. Employers cannot filter or reject candidates based on personality alone.
Protected characteristics
We never ask about, infer from, or store any protected characteristic: age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, or any other attribute protected under the Equality Act 2010. Our AI system is designed to surface work preferences only.
Data storage & deletion
Your data is stored securely and used only for the purposes described here. You can request deletion of your profile and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
GDPR
If you are based in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time without detriment.
